Why I Coach About Health?

It may be because my father died at such a young age - 53 years old.  Younger than I am now.  Everyone in my family chain-smoked. Some still do.  Why?  It's a serious addiction for some.  Others, like my mother, quit fairly easily.  Everyone s different and we are all different in terms of our health, how we treat ourselves.  It may be a reflection of our inner selves, our over-pressured work lives or even stresses that affect everyone in a different way.

The great thing is, it's never to late to improve your health. Almost everyone has a chance for a do-over, an improvement, a lifestyle change or getting in shape again.

We are all important and well-being is important!  And taking care of ourselves is a great way to show that to ourselves, our loved ones and even the rest of the world!

Everyone deserves to have their best life -and that includes their best health!

Are you on the pain island of health where you just don't feel your best?  Perhaps you have put everything before your health for quite awhile.  Life's stressors can greatly affect how we feel, look and even our thinking.

Maybe it's time to take a look at your state of health and how you feel.  Whether you need to eat better, take off some weight or find an exercise regime that fits into your busy schedule - isn't it time you thought about self-care.  It's difficult to put yourself first, I know.  But as they say, if you don't love yourself, you can't love anyone else.  Take a trip.  Move off of pain island, where you don't want to be and let's work together to head to pleasure island, where you can be living your best life, your best health, yes, your best YOU!

There is a way to live and eat that can make a big difference for you.  I would be thrilled to work with you and help you reach your goals, whatever they may be.

Why would you want to listen to ME?  Well, after a lifetime of battling my weight, I was diagnosed with MS.  At first I was just in shock.  But then I made some decisions about my life.  If I had to live with MS, I wanted to live as fully as I possibly could!  I found a weight loss researcher, learned a great deal about the physiological reasons some people put on weight more easily than others.  Aha!  This made a huge difference in my thinking!  Not all at once, I slowly began to lose weight,  But then I began working with a trainer and between my eating changes and exercise, I am in the best shape of my life.  All in all, I lost 1-5 pounds and exercise, which I used to hate!- is one of my favorite things to do!  No one can guarantee that you will love exercise, like I do.  But who knows?  You might.  Oh, a small thing I wanted to share is that after yo-=yoing for much of my life, I have been able to maintain that weight loss.

And isn't that really what it's all about?  Self-care, self-love, loving yourself enough to take the best care of beautiful you is maybe the best gift you can give yourself!
